The origin of a product has an impact on its adoption or use. In marketing, people talk about the “country of origin effect.” There are many people who buy products based on where they are manufactured. Do not put much focus on examples of the third world countries- Zimbabwe and Mozambique. I live in Zimbabwe and I normally travel and stay in Mozambique. I have put them here as illustration only.

Now back to our discussion. I was talking of the country of origin effect. It really has an impact. I want to link this illustration to the Pi cryptocurrency. Many people have put their trust in it because it was developed by Stanford University. What’s your take?
