Great news for all users of Kinetex Network!

We have finally added Uniswap’s Permit2 for our gasless transactions. Now, the process of swapping numerous tokens with Kinetex Widget has become even more streamlined.

Uniswap Labs have long aspired to implement the permit approach proposed in EIP-2612 for all tokens available on the market, including those that do not support the permit method. As a result, they created Permit2, a token approval contract that allows for a more convenient, flexible, and secure user experience.

Permit2 streamlines interaction with any contract and eliminates additional gas costs. Every user, having issued an infinite approval for any token to the Permit2 contract once, can easily give permission for the use of the token by other contracts. It means there is no more need to send several approval transactions that often confuse users and waste their time and gas. Moreover, users receive far more flexibility when working with a variety of crypto assets.

Additionally, since permission is issued for a limited number of tokens, without giving a maximum allowance on a wallet’s entire token balance, and also has a limited time of use, Permit2 removes security concerns regarding unauthorized use of approvals that worried a lot of users.

All Kinetex users who previously gave approval for tokens in Permit2 can use it immediately to exchange crypto assets without approval via the Kinetex contract. Those users who do not have approval for Permit2 can always use our Multi-chain Gasless with a permit or wait for the updated version — Universal Gasless — that will be available soon.
