Though Play-to-earn NFT games are quite new to the NFT and crypto world, they have witnessed exponential growth. The new Rental Standards (ERC-4907) has made Play-to-earn NFT games more accessible. This allows the players to rent new NFTs from other players for a particular period of time. The ownership of the NFTs get automatically transferred to the original owner after the stipulated expiration date.
