It’s true that NFTs have been infamous for their impact on the environment. However, as we become more ecologically aware, there may be a possibility that NFTs may help the environment rather than hurt them. For instance, WWF launched a collection of NFTs that helped raise awareness and funds to protect animals. The Great NFTrees project, too, was initiated to fight land degradation in Africa with the help of tree NFTs. We’ve heard of fashion NFTs and even Car NFTs, but ecologically friendly NFTs may just tip market sentiments in favour of NFTs.
