Premium Video On Demand services provide video content to consumers on an a la carte basis so that they can pay for only the video content they want to watch. The consumer pays per episode, movie or season. In contrast, most other video on demand services offer their content as part of a monthly subscription service where consumers pay one fee per month for access to all videos available in that particular service's library.
